Behind the Barn, is an easily accessible garden with picnic furniture and a BBQ. There is off road parking.

Enjoy the stunning panoramic views from Tor View of Helman Tor, owned by the National Trust, and Breney Common.

As well as being the ideal holiday venue we have designed and fitted Tor View to provide excellent conference and study facilities. The perfect venue for your study group, seminar, working break or team workshop. Our extensive facilities and idyllic position will help inspire your group's members. ACTIVITIES

This is the perfect base for your walking, cycling or active holiday.  With extensive tracts of moorland, heathland and woodland nearby you'll not be short of a new and invigorating experience each day.

The Cornish Way is part of the national cycling network which is a visionary project to create 9,000 miles of routes for cyclists and walkers by 2005.

Tor View is alongside network route number 3 - The Coast and Clay trail, which is a 45 mile (71.5 kilometres) section of the network which presently starts in Bodmin and ends in Truro - an unspoilt walking haven through woodland, along a former tramway and beside the water leats.

The Camel Trail is ideal for wheelchair users and fantastic for off-road cycling and walking.

Tor View lies on the Saints Way and is perfect for exploring the network of rights-of-way and bridleways in and around the area.

There are traffic free cycle routes: the Camel Trail (mentioned) Pentewan Valley Trail (alongside the White River through woodland and wetland) and the beautiful valley and woodland at Cardinham Woods. There are plenty of places where you can hire bikes or bring your own. Tor View has lockable storage for bicycles.

Bodmin Moor is Europe's least-eroded moor and contains Cornwall's two highest points, “Brown Willy” and “Rough Tor” - and of course, is home to the famous “Dartmoor Ponies” and an abundance of wildlife.

The Eden project is only 10 minutes by back roads helping to miss all the traffic and priority at the entrance! The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a short drive away as are wonderful beaches and coastal villages.

With so much to see and do, and with such a variety of activities and facilities for the active visitor, Cornwall is the place to be!
